The primary goal of St. James Elementary School is to develop well-rounded young men and women who are prepared to take their place in their faith community and in the world. Each child receives instruction in Religion, Mathematics and Language Arts daily. Social Studies and Science are taught in accordance with the directives of the Diocese of Metuchen School Office.
General Music, Art, Computer, and Physical Education classes are scheduled weekly. In addition, all students make regular visits to the library where they are taught library skills.
Additionally, students may elect to participate in the choral music program, art program, technology club, and in a variety of sports programs.
